I dont normally enjoy forwards, nor do i promote them...but I recently cme across this "remix" version of Gloria Gaynor's 'I will survive'. I laughed my ass off when I sang it aloud...So..if u know the tune....sing it aloud...enjoy :)

And...the horrendous Wait is over.

Mr. Krishnan Govindachari (83 years) attained acharya thiruvedi on Sunday. He was a loving, caring, and deeply religious man! He was extremely affectionate to all his grandchildren (though I knew he secretly preferred his 2 grandsons over the 4 granddaughters) :) We had a special bond...and knowing the man he was I'm sure he had one with all my cousins!!!

He (together with my patti) only named me. He used to call me Amirthu, and I, Thathu.

In the initial draft of this post, I had summarised all my special memories of / with him..But at the time of publishing...I realised...my memories are all I have left of him..and I want it to remain like that...with me.

PS - It killed me to write about him in the past tense!!! :(

I have now come to believe that of all the hardships one has to face, none is more punishing than the simple act of waiting! :(
